Abstract
Based on sub-optimal sorting and QR decomposition, we propose a transmit antenna selection criterion that is applicable for V-BLAST systems with ordered successive interference cancellation detection. Unlike most of the existing works, this criterion takes into account the impacts of ordering and cancellation. Simulations show that the proposed strategy achieves near-optimal outage capacity and outperforms several existing schemes in performance with reasonable complexity
