Abstract :
The basic idea presented in this paper is to enable fuzzy set representation of chosen variable to self-adjust its universe of discourse based on its experience gained through interaction with its surroundings. The proposed approach is based on the idea that by allowing universe of discourse for chosen variables to self-define its boundary values and to shift values inside that range, fuzzy system should be able to modify itself without human expert interventions. As demonstrated by the results presented in this paper, fuzzy system with proposed fuzzy sets with self-adjusting capabilities proved to be capable of autonomous human knowledge modeling based on the experiences gained from interaction with its surroundings.
