Abstract :
With the popularization and development of information technology, digital modulation technology, especially digital phase modulation and quadrature amplitude modulation technologies, is the widely employed digital communications technology. These technologies are more complex, but with the development of digital signal processing and VLSI technology, complex design can be implemented with a small number of integrated circuit module. This article describes the technical performance of PSK and QAM. From binary PSK and QAM to introduction to the M-ary PSK and QAM, it has an in-depth analysis of the relation and difference of the two technologies.
