Abstract
Analytic results are presented for the bandwidth of multiple-bus interconnection networks with two types of arbiter. These analytic results are in close agreement with previously published simulation data. An optimal clustering scheme is proposed and verified by the analytic results, which show that the scheme characterizes the highest memory bandwidth in current partial-bus interconnection networks
