Abstract :
ANSYS is a general purpose finite element program which has been under continuous development since its first commercial release in 1970. It is a standalone package that includes complete pre-processing and post-processing together with a wide variety of solution types, including stress, thermal, electromagnetics, fluid flow and combinations of these as coupled analyses. As it has such a wide variety of solution types it has been necessary to develop a wide variety of graphical tools to visualize the results
