With the rapid development of forest products trade, Chinese government adjusted trade policies continuously in order to promote sustainable development and improve the international competitiveness of China´s forest industry. This paper introduces the evolution of china´s forest products foreign trade policies and constructs an evaluation system for trade policies, and analyzes the effects of implementing the trade policies based on the data of China´s forest products trade between 1998 and 2008. We can see that China´s forest product trade policies can promote the growth of the forest industry and forest products trade. we will conduct more spot investigation. Thus, we can get more data to make more accurate analysis.
