Abstract :
Once it is properly understood as a rigorous process, there are good reasons to believe that RAD (Rapid Application Development) is a positive boon to producing high quality, well engineered software systems that accurately meet users´ requirements. The question is not whether RAD and quality fit comfortably together, but how. The paper considers RAD and quality fundamentals, the Dynamic Systems Development Method (DSDM) and software quality standards
