Abstract :
This paper focuses on the simulation of the performance of a TPON using software modelling techniques. The computer model is based on clock driven discrete event simulation and is able to provide information about the traffic throughput and mean delay across a network for a variety of traffic loading conditions, including widely asymmetric traffic loads
