Abstract

A combined WLAN (wireless local area network) and RFID (radio frequency identification) system and its application in joint total asset visibility (JTAV) are studied. The working principle, choices of working frequencies and terminal roaming of this system as well as smart storage and in-transit visibility (ITV) of JTAV are discussed. The application of such JTAV in Qingxin County of Guangdong Province in China through remote linkages in WLAN is introduced which can also be applied in disaster relief, maneuver and training of reservists
