The purposes of this paper are to probe into the relationship between the values of real estate industry and the values of tertiary industry in China, and provide reference for scientifically drawing up the policy and strategy of the real estate industry development. Methods employed include econometrics and empirical analysis. The results show that according to the data from 1978 to 2008 and concluded by the regressive model analysis, under the circumstances of without considering other factors, the values of tertiary industry will increase 0.77762 billion RMB yuan when the values of real estate industry increases 0.1 billion RMB yuan. It is concluded that the real estate industry is one of the important factors concerning to the national economy growth, and that the government shall put emphases on long-term objectives, ensure housing demands as starting point and choose cautious and appropriate intervention to avoid real estate market changing radically for seeking the real estate market running healthily and smoothly.
