Abstract
The Class DE inverter is very suitable for high efficient power conversion at high operating frequency with low peak switch voltage owing to the circuit topology based on that of Class D and Class E switching conditions applied to each switch. However no ways to control the output power have been introduced without varying its operating frequency. In this paper, we propose to control the output power of a Class DE inverter by varying the phase shift between two Class DE inverters. An analysis, design equations, and experimental results are given
