Followed by the entrepreneur´s trait perspective and the institutional theory, this study proposes that the entrepreneurship decision is determined both by personal characteristics and by institutional or culture environment in that particular country/region. We suggest that there is positive relationship between individual´s attributes (achievement motivation, risk-taking propensity, innovative mind, self-confidence, and proficient in bundling) and their decision to become an entrepreneur. We also suggest these would-be entrepreneurs will be more likely to take venture actions in the countries/regions characterized by individualistic cultures and strong institutional supports.
