Abstract :
A program, called Spider, for routing of interconnections between cells in integrated circuits is presented. It is based on hierarchical algorithms. Special attention is paid to doglegging as the most sensitive part of the routing process. Experimental results obtained on several examples demonstrate the efficiency of the system
