  • Abstract
    In this paper, a simple approximate technique for analyzing the ergodic capacity of independent and identically distributed (i.i.d) Rayleigh fading MIMO channels is presented by using the asymptotic capacity rate of MIMO channels. The method excludes any integrations and special functions. The simulation results are compared with analytic method and good agreement is reported.
