Abstract :
FIELAX GmbH is an SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) specialized in operating research platforms and scientific measurements. We have developed a Heat Flow Probe for a wide application range and easy handling featuring an active length of 6 m. The new probe is the follow-up of a prototype that was created at the University of Bremen (Germany), Prof. Villinger, with whom we work in close cooperation. Since the prototype has been in use for more than 10 years, the new development benefits from a long-time experience in heat flow exploration in all types of marine environment. FIELAX offers now the possibility to purchase or rent the new Heat Flow Probe together with scientific / technical service for expeditions and/or data processing.
