Abstract :
Abstract-In this paper, we proposed an efficient clustering based cooperative transmission strategy for virtual MIMO applied in Ad Hoc system. In the strategy, different encoding schemes are used in intra- and inter-cluster communication as a tradeoff between diversity and multiplexing gain. In decoding, an improved grouped Sphere Decoding (SD) algorithm is proposed for the system described here. Simulation results are given to demonstrate that the proposed strategy is able to make great improvement on the efficiency of the virtual MIMO Ad Hoc system without affecting the transmission reliability.
