Abstract :
The UPS inverter presented in this paper uses GTOs as power switch components and an HEF4752 as the PWM controller of the inverter, together with a single-chip microcomputer acting as an error diagnosis system for the UPS inverter. It is an important field of research to increase the energy utility rate owing to a worldwide energy crisis. UPS systems have been greatly improved by mainly focusing on how to increase transformer efficiency, to reduce power loss (more than half the loss is due to main power electronic components switching), to simplify circuits and reduce material consumption loss
