Abstract :
In this work the problem of designing a combined variable structure/adaptive control scheme able to be applied to nonminimum phase LTI plants is addressed. The novelty of this scheme relies in the possibility it offers of extracting from the set of the admissible equivalent control signals a control capable of steering the output error to zero while keeping the controller parameters bounded
