Abstract
Mobile ad hoc network is a distributed wireless communication network, and energy issue has become a hot topic.CMMBCR considers the latest routing strategy about energy issue in ad hoc networks according to different situation , AOMDV multi-path routing protocol is improved based on the energy saving strategy CMMBCR.The improved protocol sets three node status and the nodes that do not work for a long time must be changed into sleep state, thus reducing the energy consumption of nodes. In order to validate the performance of the improved protocol which based on CMMBCR, it uses the simulation platform of NS2 to analyse the improved multipath routing protocol. The results show that, compared with AOMDV protocol the improved routing protocol which based on CMMBCR enhances the delivery rate and the energy costs also is greatly reduced, thus it advances the network performance to some degree.
