    Power quality is becoming more and more important. Numerous power supplies, power converters, UPCs, etc. are used. Different events like voltage dropouts, voltage variations and harmonics have to be taken into account. The author explains the origin of the various types of interference, and the importance, limits and application of the different standards concerned with power quality
