With SWOT analysis, this paper analyzed systematically the strength and weakness, opportunity and threat of Henan agricultural produce processing industry. The results indicated the main strength is that there are plenty of agricultural resources, land and labor resources, and many agricultural products processing enterprises with much more competitive environment; the main weakness is that most companies are small in scale and have insufficient competitiveness, they generally lack of a modern corporate management mechanisms and lower independent innovation level so that the agricultural products usually have low comprehensive utilization, science and technology content; meanwhile, the main opportunity is the national strategic support for economic stability development, and the space of market development is enormous with the help of strategic implementation for the central rise; And the main challenge is that the majority of farm produces processing industry lack stable supply of raw materials, the materials base of special processing and the product standards are both relatively static, and the market competition become increasingly fierce. Finally, in this paper, we put forward to some countermeasures and advices for further accelerating Henan agricultural produce processing industry´s development.
