Abstract :
By introducing the standard CMIP-based management interface for optical access network (OAN), heterogeneous OAN devices from different suppliers can be managed in a unified way. This paper discusses the CMIP-based management interface being developed for OAN. It firstly describes the components of CMIP-based management interface for OAN and then introduces a prototype implementation for the management interface.
