Abstract
The stability of cascade connected switched mode power converters is investigated. The first stage is the boost power converter for correcting power factor and the second stage is the buck power converter for regulating output voltage. In this paper, the authors show that increasing the feedforward gain of the first stage makes the second stage more stable and that good regulation is achieved by increasing the feedback gain of the second stage
