Abstract
The status of the ISACS concept and its subsystems is reviewed. The Halden Project perceives ISACS as a practical demonstration of the fully computerized control room foreseeable 10-15 years into the future. ISACS covers functions for status identification, operational advice and implementation of control during normal operation, and disturbances and emergencies. An intelligent coordinator administers the main calculation and presentation flow in the ISACS-based control room.<>
