Abstract :
Combining visible light communication with smart devices based on Android system will have a wide range of application scenarios in the future. In this paper two methods of different Android mechanisms to make the flicker in different data rate are presented. And the maximum data rate is up to 5000bps on the Android development board is achieved. In the meantime, due to the LED´s features and experiments´ result, our work gives two flow charts of application scenarios: the mobile payment and ships communication.
