Grain direct subsidy policy is an important part of the system of grain financial subsidy policy. This paper is based on the investigation of the Sichuan province. The method of descriptive statistics is adopted to get the following conclusions: the farmers in plain area have higher evaluation of the grain direct subsidy policy, but the whole farmers all expect that the standard of the subsidy could be higher. More farmers expect getting the subsidy by the cultivated area The price and the input are the key factors to influence the planting of the grain. Grain direct subsidy, agricultural material synthesis subsidy and subsidy to improved crop strains can increase the farmers´ enthusiasm in planting grain
