Based on the research of the current situation and the barriers to self-innovation of machinery and equipment manufacturing´s industry in Henan in this paper, then discuss the current situation and the barriers to self-innovation of machinery and equipment manufacturing´s industry, then describe the trend of self-innovation in the same industry abroad1 and propose effective development strategies and policies recommendation for machinery and equipment manufacturing industry in Henan.
