Abstract :
This paper describes implementation of the integrated magnetic to the phase shifted control topology for 48 V/15 A battery charger and/or telecom power supply. The following points are emphasized: PCB integrated transformer winding implementation; required leakage inductance, output choke and main transformer integration in one core for the phase shifted controlled technique; smart fan implementation for longer MTBF; and efficiency (88% at full load), light weight (only 5 kg), and small size (280×152×152 mm)
