Abstract
By following the fluid method, a model of the packet arrival processes with various priority policies described by an on/off process has been developed in order to deal with traffic of various QoS. Based on the analytic solution the evolution equations of the expected number of packets in the system as well as the mean packet delay have been obtained, and the results with priority policies and those without priority policies have been compared.
