The local government financing efficiency: An evaluation based on the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation process

Nowadays in china, the local governments have a strong financing need under the circumstances of financial and administrative asymmetry. Various approaches have been tried and their efficiencies are different. This paper uses the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to assess the efficiencies of three financing methods which are commonly used by the local governments. The result shows that the efficiency of local bonds financing is higher than that of land financing and platform financing. platform financing lacks efficiency.
