Abstract :
We demonstrate the first field trial of a granularity-flexible ROADM (reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexing) network with a wavelength-packet-selective switch using concurrent generation technique of address-reconfigurable optical code label and payload. Error-free operations for all 16-wavelength channels are obtained over 90-km transmission.
