Abstract
This paper describes an enhancement of ACK delay control of TCP traffic (Fast TCP) by introducing random early detection (RED). The proposal maintains the advantage of Fast TCP of no packet discard or less packet discard and introduces the advantage of RED of particle predication of impending congestion.
