Because conditions and emphasis are different, the explanations of enterprises´ vertical integration motivation are many and varied. Most of the scholars analyze this problem on merger´s position and regard merger´s benefits the direct reason for vertical integration. By taking Mingshan tea industry as example, this paper analyses that at the infancy age of the industry, because of the limited scope of the market, the main part of the vertical integration is not only the merger, benefits of the be-merger are also very important, and their cooperation is the only way to go. The profit of the be-merger will be contributed to vertical integration.
