Abstract :
The authors show why temporal reasoning is essential in human reliability analysis and how it could be introduced in a human model. Accounting for the time dimension in human behavior is discussed first, with reference to proven field studies. Then theoretical modeling of the temporal dimensions in human reasoning and its relevance in simulation of cognitive activities of plant operators is discussed.<>
