Abstract
In the paper there describes brain - computer interface, controlled by Steady - State Visual Evoked Potentials (SSVEP). This potentials are natural responses to visual stimulus ranging from 3.5 Hz to 75 Hz. In this work to elicit the SSVEP was used LED display consisting of four fields different flickering frequencies (28, 30, 32 and 34 Hz). Commercially available Emotiv EPOC neuroheadset was used to measure the electrical activity of the brain. The BCI system was used to control Lego Mindstorms. All components of the presented system were implemented in LabVIEW environment.
