Abstract :
The mutual coupling is analyzed on the basis of a mixed potential integral equation (MPIE) formulation that is solved by the method of moments and includes the effects of space wave and feed pin coupling. Basis functions are used on both the patch and the coaxial feed probe while a special attachment mode is used at the coaxial probe-antenna junction. The analytical techniques and numerical model are outlined.<>
