Abstract :
In this paper, the principle and the hardware and software design of sink node IF receivers based on the software radio architecture has been described. Analyses have been performed on the digital model of the sink node IF receiver. Different design schemes are compared to determine a design that meets the requirements. In the design, the electronic design automation technology is used. The FPGA is used to complete the digital down conversion and the functions of the sink node IF receiver. Furthermore, the system has been simulated using the MATLAB programs.
