  • Abstract
    It is shown that spectral broadening of the transmitted pulse is suppressed by introducing the concept of nonlinear transmission and long haul transmission with high spectral efficiency is possible in wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) systems by contriving the fiber management method and parameters.
