Abstract :
Gabriel is a retargetable software system for the development of assembly code and microcode for single or multiple programmable DSPs. A description is given of the mechanism used to target multiprocessor DSP systems. Programs are automatically partitioned for parallel execution. A Thor-based hardware simulator integrated into the system stimulates the execution of programs on architectures using any number of Motorola DSP56001 processors
