  • Abstract
    In this paper, the smart acoustic room (SAR) system is presented for background signal cancelling in the car. That is, the sound sign from loudspeakers of car will be diminished at the microphone position of the hand-free telephone. This is realized by robust estimation algorithm for well control of the acoustic impulse responses in car. Therefore, unwanted music of background is canceled while the hand-free phone receiving the speakerpsilas voice. In other words, people at far-end will not hear the background sound of near-end. The computer simulation results support the theoretical findings and verify the robustness of the proposed algorithm.
