  • Abstract
    This article describes the improvement of the calibration section of gas cylinders filling plant using a system for collecting data from the gas analyzers and other sensors. The system replaces manual inspections of values measured by set of analyzers and their comparison with values from data sheets and automates subsequent manual entry in the list and accompanying tables. The system consists of measuring software running on a PC with touch panel connected to the LAN A/D and D/D converters to receive status signals and signals from devices with analog output. Gas containers and gas compounds are identified by bar codes. Software ensures compliance with the test sequence and evaluates the parameters of the mixture according to the values entered in the database. The measurement results are stored in xml database in the form of a printed record of exchange and the accompanying sheet.
