Abstract
A high frequency, current fed double forward Low Voltage High Current (LVHC) DC-DC converter has been designed and developed for the input power requirements of high speed digital electronic circuits such as Solid State Recorder (SSR) and Base Data Handling (BDH) sub-systems of spacecraft. The converter is developed using Surface Mount Technique (SMT) for satellite applications. The converter is tested for different operating conditions and it exhibits good line/load regulation & achieved efficiency for the converter is 62.5%. The DC-DC Converter was developed and tested in Power electronics Lab, ISRO Satellite Centre, Bangalore.
