Logistics is an integral part of corporate strategy, and it contributes to the primary activities of the value chain. Logistics integration has been intensively researched in academic literature and traditionally focuses on minimizing costs or maximizing profit. Recently, climate change and environmental concerns have been increasingly discussed, the logistics activities are inter-dependent, requiring careful allocation of resources that consider both economic (gold) and environmental (green) goal simultaneously. So, logistics integration requires coordination mechanisms to manage the logistics process effectively. The paper´s aim is to critically examine coordination mechanisms in logistics integration and their impact on green logistics performance.
