Abstract :
The optical packet switch geometry detailed permits priority routing by adopting feedback delay lines. A proposal to implement two smaller AWGs in the switch is also presented. Their optical performance is investigated with respect to power penalty. This work is a part of an EPSRC-funded project, WASPNET (Wavelength Switched Packet NETwork).
