Business continuity plan now applicability extends to organizations of all types, sizes, and missions and it is very important in mitigating the threats to business continuity. For the governments in the electronic age, the disasters that the governments encountered are more from cyber attacks and more difficult to anticipated and deal with, so they are in great need of a proper business continuity plan. Records played a very important role in the conduction of business, in developing business continuity plan people should not overlook the records parts. In the electronic age, governments´ business continuity plan for records has three important parts which are all the electronic records specific aspects: risk assessment, vital records management and planning.
