Abstract :
A stray-insensitive switched-capacitor (SC) building block is presented that permits the realization of arbitrary analog finite-impulse-response (FIR) filters. With one amplifier per (n-2)nd-order cell (where n denotes the number of phases), the proposed cellular approach is feasible for the implementation of at least moderate-order FIR systems. Since the amplifiers in the presented SC cells are time-multiplexed, the upper frequency limit of these sampled data analog circuits will be approximately a factor n/2 smaller than the maximum operating frequency of common two-phase SC networks
