Abstract :
Compared with AC transmission technology, DC transmission technology has obvious advantages in long-distance and high-capacity transmission, large-area interconnection, cable transmission, power transmission losses, etc. that it has excellent prospects for development. At present, in the handover of newly-built converter stations and inspection work of the converter stations that have been put into operation, due to the shortage of reliable techniques and sophisticated equipments and devices, the DC switch oscillation circuit still can not be effectively inspected, which brings potential problems to safe production. This paper describes basic principles and various methods for DC interruption, the waveforms are obtained through simulation and genetic algorithm is used to estimate the parameters of DC circuit breaker, thus to determine the status of DC circuit breaker oscillation circuit and carry out reasonable status assessment.
