Abstract :
South China is a strong thunderstorm region, where has long thunderstorm time and strong thunder activity. Every year power-off because of lightning strikes often happens in the oil transporting yard in south of China. At the same time, with the expansion of the yard and the rapid growth of the networking and intellectuality of the distribution and control system, intelligent electronic equipments exist disadvantages in low dielectric strength, low ability of over-voltage and over-current. In order to reduce more and more lightning accidents, this paper was based on pipe net in South China and analyzed the present state and problems of lightning protection about distribution network, power supply system, grounding system and oil pipelines. According to these problems, This paper made detailed lightning protective plans for distribute transformer power source, UPS and so on.
