  • Abstract
    Many authors have used a Monte Carlo simulation to determine the dose rate deposited in a given target, such as the GEANT 4 code [1,2,3] or the MCNP code [4,5,6]. In the present work, GEANT4 was used to determine the mean energy and the dose rate deposited in a PMMA dosimeter [7]. These dosimeters are placed in the vicinity of the National Center for Nuclear Sciences and Technologies (CNSTN) source.
