Abstract :
The problem of designing radar detection filters which minimize both Doppler and the range sidelobe level is considered. The algorithm for Doppler optimized mismatch filter is constructed. The generalization enables sidelobe suppression for the polyphase and complex multilevel sequences For minimax filter coefficient calculation, the iterative reweighted least-square procedure is successfully applied. Favorable experimental results are obtained, especially for polyphase codes
